Blue Planet Energy Completes Carbon Footprint for DePaul University

(Chicago, February 24, 2010) Blue Planet Energy completed a Carbon Footprint and Sustainability Assessment for DePaul University. The assessment used the Green House Gas Gold Standard in determining GHG emissions and credits. "Probably the most impressive finding was that," says Craig Schuttenberg, Vice President of Blue Planet, "despite a 14% increase in space and a 17% increase in enrollment, GHG emissions have decreased over the base year of 2001. This is a testament to DePaul's socially responsible approach to education and their commitment to the environment."
